Spain, Madrid

Spain is a country in southwestern Europe officially known as the Kingdom of Spain. The official language is Spanish, because of its membership in the European Union, the currency is Euro. As you know the Spanish language is widely spoken throughout the world because of Spaniard history due to their colonial approach and a strong navy. Spain has a rich historical and cultural heritage due to interactions from different civilizations which can be seen across the country, regarding this matter, one of the obvious places where this can be seen most clearly is the city of Cordoba. The capital of Spain is Madrid that I’ve visited in 2019. It’s one of the largest and crowded city in Europe.

Madrid is the economic, political, and cultural center of the country. Madrid has great importance that shaped the history of Spain and Europe. As a city that Madrid lives 24 hours. The city is like an open-air museum with its rich cultural heritage and historic architectural buildings. Madrid is a city that achieves to be alive despite its intense population where locals take advantage of the city which gives a lot of opportunities to spend time throughout the city. Traffic is heavy due to its hundreds of years of old city settlement, so it’s not very suitable for vehicles during rush hours. But transportation network encourages people to use wide subways and bus network with its convenient and affordable price.

Once you spend some time at traditional cafes in Madrid and experience the flea market you began to feel how real ” Madrilenos” live a completely different lifestyle. Madrid is the oldest settlement in Europe with many museums, palaces, event centers, art galleries, opera and theater halls as well as architectural structures that are symbols of Spanish culture.

Where to go:

At the end City of Madrid lives 7/24 despite its busy life style and intense population. This unique city is worth to visit and one of the best destination in Europe.
